This page was last updated Sept 11, 2023.
This is a collection of resources I’ve discovered throughout my years. Most of these are sites that organize, list, curate, or write about HBMC content. These are split into categories then organized alphabetically; being on the top doesn’t necessarily mean I think it’s the best.
While I believe these are good resources for HBMC content, I am not responsible for nor endorse the content found on these websites.
HBMC Catalogs/Archives
Sites that catalog or archive instances of HBMC.
Akuochi Chance – Inactive
Older site that focused on corruption and vampire content, but definitely had its fair share of HBMC. The first post contains free download links to their indie game series “Village of Nightmare.”
Haitokuchijyo – Active
Very active (as of 2023) blog of curated HBMC content with lots of specific tags that cater to the kinds of people who would be reading this paragraph. Includes posts about live-action (most JAV) content as well, though it’s fairly rare. Similar to Sennou Akuochi Saimin.
Hyouilover’s Blog – Inactive
This was the blog of hyouilover before they moved to Twitter and Pixiv. As the name implies, they focused on possession and gender-bender content. There’s not a lot here, but there are some older short-stories (in Japanese, of course) and some posts about possession/gender-bender content. If you’re interested, I’d check out their Pixiv; they still post fairly frequently.
If no Sekai – Inactive
Very sporadic collection of HBMC content, but good nonetheless. Lots of tags, but a bunch of them overlap so… only somewhat useful there. Definitely could use some housekeeping.
M.C. Game Overview – Inactive
Last updated in 2012, this site is a list of games that contain some kind of HBMC content. There’s lots of information about each game, and you can even filter by the type of content you want to see like hypnosis, brainwashing, manipulation, etc. While outdated, it’s still a great resource for those interested in games.
MC-Ningyo Forums – Inactive
Old forum made by fans of “puppetization” (read: hypno-slaves) and empty eyes. There’s sections for anime, manga, games, movies, and even manips. Many of the links are dead, but there’s still a lot of text information that could be useful for those looking for the obscure.
Mental Block – Active
This is like the English counterpart to wikiwiki.jp/control; it’s a wiki that focuses on cataloging HBMC sightings in media. Includes pretty much all visual media types from anime to manga to live action.
Sennou Akuochi Saimin – Active
The name literally means “brainwashing, corruption, hypnosis” which is a perfect description; it’s a very-active blog (as of 2023) of HBMC content with many tags to search from. Similar to Haitokuchijyo.
Smashingground – Inactive
Used to post about HBMC and manip-related things, but it looks like it’s been abandoned for a while now. Might be worth looking through for people who like empty eyes.
sukidesumc – Active
Blog that posts about HBMC, gender-bender, and transformation sightings in media, particularly in manga. Does a pretty good job of putting information in the post on what and were to find the situation, and occasionally provides some of the pages from the actual scene.
symats’ Fetish World – Active
Site that collects HBMC content and extended fetishes like corruption, timestop, and transformation, as well as some futanari and tentacle content. The tag system is fairly robust and even has the names in English. You can find the list under a dropdown on the right side of the page just above their Twitter feed (in the カテゴリー section). Also has a sister site named symats’ Forced Fem which focuses on, unsurprisingly, forced feminization.
tok2 – Archive only
Long since gone from the web, this site can now only be accessed through the Wayback Machine. This is one of the largest collections of HBMC sightings in anime I’ve ever seen, complete with episode lists, character names, type, and even pictures. It’s mostly SFW content as it’s primarily a list of mainstream anime, so it’s a great place to look if you don’t care for NSFW content. Do be aware that things highlighted in red may contain NSFW content.
Tokumei Junkyard – Inactive
This site is a list of random links and information. What will probably interest people here the most are the two tabs on the top of the page with “MC” in them. The first one is some information about games with HBMC content, and the second one is a huge list of HBMC short stories. At the end of the short stories page, there’s some links to old forums with HBMC roleplaying and random sightings. There’s also a harem (ハーレム) section of the site with similar information.
wikiwiki.jp/control – Active
Similar to Mental Block, this is a wiki that gathers HBMC sightings in media. There’s a ton of info to sift though for those who want to sit down and do some intense digging. There’s also a list of other sites related to HBMC (many of which are on this list).
HBMC Artists
Artist sites that have content not readily available on major sites like Pixiv, Twitter, Deviantart, etc.
akuoti3dlive – Inactive
This was the blog of Wabuki from Ochigan (堕ち玩). Mostly focuses on brainwashing and corruption art alongside showcases from their paid work. There’s plenty of backlog with different sequences you can’t find anywhere else.
Eltama’s Blog – Active(?)
I thought this blog was inactive, but there was a post not that long ago with new content, so I guess they’re still around. Eltama mostly focuses on (spirit) possession and transformation (into figures), but they sprinkle some HBMC content around as well. They also have a Pixiv and Twitter.
HypnoLab – Active
HypnoLab is a collection of HBMC stories made in CM3D2 and presented in a visual-novel-like format. Some of the stories have English translations, and I don’t think these are posted anywhere else.
Indoichi Enema – Inactive
I think this is the old blog of the artist for Crooked Navel, but I’m not sure. A lot of the art on the blog looks very similar to their style. Anyway, this blog has a lot of short stories with art to go along with them, as well as a free homebrew game about (vampire?) corruption right on the front page.
JG’s 3D Seductress – Active
JG focuses on demonic corruption with a more western 3D style (like Shadow Rangers, if you know that). I think a lot of their stuff is on DeviantArt, but not all of it.
